1. Service Scope

PDF Encryptor provides a free tool to encrypt PDF files with a password. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

2. Data Handling and Privacy

We do not intentionally store your uploaded files, passwords, or encrypted files after processing. Files are processed temporarily for encryption and then removed from server storage.

3. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the files you upload, the passwords you choose, and complying with applicable laws. Keep your password secure, as lost passwords may make your PDF inaccessible.

4. Availability and Limits

To protect service stability, request limits and file-size limits may apply. We may throttle or block abusive traffic. Because the service is provided on an "as is" basis, temporary downtime or interruptions may occur.

5. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDF Encryptor is not liable if you overwrite your original file with a password-protected version and then lose access to it (for example, by forgetting the password).
